Strain gauge sensor system infers level by measuring the mass of bulk material inside large capacity Bin/vessel/Silo. Substantially different and more accurate than measuring the distance from the top of the Bin / Silo. Strain Sensors measures mass of Bulk Material by physically measuring the strain in the steel structural supports. Strain sensors are press fit into the steel supports structure. Strain Sensors are unaffected by density of material and dust. Accuracy of the system ranges from +/-3% to +/-5%.
